Forbes Accessibility 100 List for 2025
Every year, Forbes Magazine creates a list of the companies and organizations it deems the best in terms of accessibility. This year's list include Docs with Disabilities, Diversability, & more. We were particularly excited to see our friends at New Disabled South make the list, as they have sponsored ASL for our May 17, 2025 #HandsOff event & do so much important work for the disability community. Not every organization/company listed is disability-focused--some are just given recognition for making their businesses as accessible as possible and doing so in a way that stands out as an example of great accessibility models. For example, Apple is listed. While they create computers, phones, tablets, other devices and software and are not a disability-centered organization, they do have outstanding accessibility features. For example, if you can't use your hands to manage an iPhone, the accessibility tab in the settings menu offers many accessibility options, including dictation or even using your eyes to guide the cursor/phone activity. We wanted to give a special shout out to Dom Kelly, who founded & leads New Disabled South (NDS), because they are a disability led & focused organization that really does the work to make accessibility a reality for everyone. Congrats, Dom & NDS, & thank you to all of those organizations & individuals who try to achieve accessibility for as many people as possible. To see the full list, you can visit this website. Thank you to all of our community members, allies, & loved ones for supporting us & understanding that we cannot achieve social justice without disability justice.
